MAMORI TAI 守りたい
LOCATION / NORTH MELBOURNE
I was asked by Svetlana & Elbert to redecorate their rooftop in North Melbourne. Their interior design of their house was suggestive that they were massive fans of Japanese culture, design and living. So I decided to bring a little bit of traditional Japanese woodblock printing, irezumi & manga to their home. Incorporating their three cats, I felt this was a personal and touching approach as animals are everything to people who have them.
Mamori Tai 守りたい loosely translates to: “I will always protect you.”
