Deja Brew

In October 2018, I curated my first group show under my business Vilify. I sourced 10 of my favourite artists (including me - yes, I enjoy my own art) and we hand painted 10 empty beer kegs donated generously by Kegstar. The night was a huge success. Packed out crowd. Apart from the handpainted kegs, I set up a Nintendo 64, crafted a unique Spotify playlist, merchandise, free beers, beer pong and a Photobooth by Yeah Rad. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Sydney’s next must-see event is about to happen. Vilify is back we’re launching our first official event in exhibition/gallery format with 10 of our favourite Sydney artists. The event is called 'DÉJÀ BREW'. 10 artists, 10 kegs of beer as their canvas. The event will be revisiting the party era you grew up with and paying homage to the rad times, the loose times and the ones you’d probably want to forget. The nights that defined you. The forgotten years.

Just in time for Octoberfest. The opening night will be held on October 3rd and finishing the night after with our first annual Beer Pong Tournament, with 16 teams in an elimination knock out, winner takes all. Teams of two. $5 entry per person. All money from beer pong will be going to charity.

All kegs will up for silent auction with all the money going back to the artist. There will be free drinks supplied by the legendary Young Henrys on opening night.
